CHRYSALIS 2018, an annual flagship event of Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) was inaugurated by Mr. Shyam Srinivasan, Managing Director, Federal Bank along with Mr. Joe Sebastian, Income Tax Commissioner (Appeals), Fr. Francis Jayapathy SJ, Rector, Loyola College and Fr. P Christie SJ, Director, LIBA in the presence of faculty members, participants and students of LIBA. Inter B School management fest – CHRYSALIS based on the theme, “Across Horizons – limelight on Glocalization” is a two day event comprising of various management events and cultural events.

Addressing the students Mr. Shyam Srinivasan said, “I am happy to be present at LIBA and inaugurate CHRYSALIS 2018. There are two types of people, one who manages risk and one who doesn’t and the one who manages risk well shines well in the corporate world. The ability to react to challenges on a dynamic basis is what decides whether one can be successful in their respective stream. I would like to share the four attributes for success which is, learning to listen and continuous learning, Importance of understanding the essence of the available information, bring out the Bumblebee in you to become successful leaders and focus on being your authentic self. I wish all the best to the students who aspire to become corporate leaders and entrepreneurs and I would like to thank LIBA for giving me this opportunity.”
