Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Texvalley – jointly organizes the Second Edition of “WEAVES”

After the successful maiden edition of WEAVES – South India’s Premier Textile Fair last year at Erode, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Texvalley – jointly organizes the Second Edition of “WEAVES” from November 27 – 30, 2019 at Texvalley, the largest wholesale textile market in the heart of South India, Erode, Tamil Nadu. Weaves is the one and only Premier Textile Show in Tamil Nadu aroused great interest of the professional community and brought positive sentiment to its participants and visitors.

WEAVES is the first of its kind event focusing on promoting the Power Loom / Handloom Industry and would feature more than 250 plus exhibitors from across Tamil Nadu showcasing their products.  The Exhibitors would be from Greige, Processing & Finishing, Ethnic Wear & Knit Fabric, Handlooms & Khadi, Home Textiles, Textile Accessories and Machinery segments.

Texvalley, a leading Textiles Market in the country, is set to create a common platform for the buyers and retailers to connect with the manufacturers of greige, yarn dyed and dyed fabrics both in knits and woven structures. Texvalley will, shortly, provide a Common Facility Centre (CFC) at par global excellence. This CFC will provide Design Development, Product Sampling, Quality Testing and certification, Fabric library and meeting cabins for the buyers/ sourcing professionals. It is for Value Enhancement for fabric weaving, Design driven market development, Welfare for the weavers, World Class Manufacturing practice,  quality and compliance bound fabric productions, Sustainable business process, niche market and brand building environment for handloom and Power loom sectors through a complementing market ground. Through this event WEAVES 2019 we are connecting the industry.

There will be a 2 days conference and seminar during the 4 days flagship event, The seminar topics will be “Advantage of New Age Textile Machineries”, “Benefits of Cluster Development and Consolidation of Textile Manufacturing”, “Significance of Financial Planning & Organisation Structure to meet global market needs”, “Organised B2B enabled marketing development”. Mr. N.D.Mhatre, Director General (Tech), ITAMMA, Mumbai, Mr. Kumar Vembu, Managing Director, Gofrugal Technologies, Chennai,             Mr. Kumar Rajagopal, CEO, Retailers Association of India, Mumbai and more eminent speakers will be adorning this program.

We are expecting 4000-5000 master weavers and weavers to this show, as this fair is conducted as an international trade fair.

As Machineries are the focused zone we would see participation from Toyota, ATE, Voltas, Juki, Ramsons, DCC, Jacquard looms, Fabric Value Addition machineries like, Embroidery, Sequence, Digital, Water less printing, Vertical embroidery, Lace attachments, Evolve India Solar, etc. in this expo.
