Governor to inaugurate Jain Medical Relief Society hospitals


Governor Bhanwarilal  Purohit to inaugurate Kewalchand Mohanabai Daga Dialysis Centre and Suwadevi Jhumarmull Nahar Diabetes and Research Centre set up by Shree Jain Medical Relief Society in Kodambakkam..

Speaking to the media Shree Jain Medical Relief Society president Ashok Kumar Mehta, Kailash Dugar President Emeritus, Ashok Kumar Bhandari, Secretary Rajkumar Dugar Treasurer, “Shree Jain Medical Relief Society has constructed Kewalchand Mohanabai Dialysis center and Suwadevi Jhumarmal Nahar Diabetes Research Center in Kodambakkam. Governor Bhanwarilal  Purohit will inaugurate new hospitals at a function to be held at Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam on April 14, 10.15 AM in the presence of Virandramal Jain, Secretary, Sambhavnath Jain Mandir Trust, Vadapalani, M.Rikhabchand Bohra, President, Beawar Association.

The total project value is around 1.9 corers excluding the land. The center equipped with all latest dialysis and diabetic equipments. The main aim of center is to create awareness about the kidney disease, diabetes and manage the renal failure and diabetes patients. The dialysis center will be exclusively for the benefit of those who affected by the Hepatitis “B” and “C” Virus Positive Patient .This centre will be managed by well qualified and experienced Doctors and paramedical.

The Society presently manages Maternity & Childcare Hospital, Eye Hospital, Physiotherapy Centre, Polyclinics, Dental, Orthopedic ,Dialysis and Diagnostic Centers.

In 2006 the Society decided to serve the patients affected by chronic renal failure (Kidney failure) and inaugurated its first Dialysis Center at Mylapore to provide subsidized and free heamodialysis Dialysis services.

The main purpose of this project is to provide heamodialysis to the under privileged and needy patients who do not have financial support. Presently the Society operates THREE Dialysis Center at Mylapore, Perambur and Sowcarpe with the support of 20 machines . The Society is looking forward to inaugurate its FOURTH Dialysis Center at Kodambakkam. Till now more than 55,000 Dialysis have been done since 2006 and the demand is growing day by day.
