Wigs made of synthetic hair could cause irritation which could cause further discomfort to a patient who already is undergoing difficulties due to chemo treatment. Hence wigs made of human hair is recommended, and such wigs are expensive and out of reach to the underprivileged cancer patients. I am happy to acknowledge the support by the Green Trends Shair program, that provides high quality wigs free of cost to the Adyar cancer Institute that is distributed to deserving patients”
