Purchasing Power, LLC, an Atlanta-based voluntary benefit company offering the leading employee purchasing program through the convenience of payroll deductions, has opened its first overseas business operations in Chennai, India, leasing 12,500 square feet of premium office space at the DLF Cybercity.. The new Purchasing Power office is now operating with state-recommended COVID-19 guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
Among its functional competencies for Purchasing Power, the Chennai office will provide business support for eCommerce website development; mobile app development; Oracle Apps development; QA automation; IT and website operations; data science and engineering; and business analytics. The team of professionals in India currently includes developers, technical architects, QA engineers, scrum masters, data scientists and engineers, plus DBA and IT operations engineers.

Purchasing Power currently operates two central offices in metro Atlanta and employs more than 250 staff professionals. The company launched in February 2001 to offer personal computers for employee purchase through payroll deduction.
