Fitness is the new mantra and it’s time to turn back to a more vivacious life. CYCLOFUN is one-of-its kinds of fun cycling event in the city for all those cycling and sports fanatics.
Madras Esplanade Round Table 30 and Madras Esplanade Ladies Circle 100 hosted the season 4 of their charity fundraiser – CYCLOFUN on the Sunday, 29th of September at the Anna University Premises. It is a fun cycling event for the entire family, spilt into 5 categories for different age groups ranging from 5 years of age to adults.
There are five categories based on age group, participants aging from 5-7 years can take part in 2km or 4km category, 8-11 years in 6km category, 12-17 years in 12km category and 18 years and above in 30km category. Limited cycles are available on rent for all categories.
We at RT30 & LC100 have set out with a motto to promote fitness alongside raising funds for our charitable projects and what can be a better way than to promote CYCLING – which is the most environment friendly sport and transport. The proceeds of our event will be forwarded towards our charitable projects – from education to women empowerment, from lending a helping hand to the under privileged to building classrooms for the deserving, said, Mr.Akshay Seth, Madras Esplanade Round Table 30 .
An action packed event planned, it promises much more than it states. While children of age group 5 yrs upward get to experience the thrill of riding in a safe environment, adults also have an opportunity to ride 30 km and be a proud finisher.
