This month’s Sunday Kutcheri organized by Sundaram Finance saw a lilting performance by R Dhamini. A bustling crowd of early morning walkers slowed down to appreciate the music from the talented artiste. As the listeners grew in numbers, R Dhamini moved effortlessly through her repertoire regaling the gathered crowd.
14 year old R Dhamini has been coached in Carnatic music by her Guru S Kavitha Murali. She was accompanied by K Nidish Kumar on the violin and by Chidambaram S. Manikandan on the Mirudangam
R Dhamini along with the accompanists were felicitated with a memento by Sundaram Finance at the end of the performance.
