The RCC DIVA Club had the e-installation ceremony of its newest president via Facebook Live on the 11th of April 2020. As part of the ceremony, the defining moment in the history of RCC DIVA arrived with the unveiling of historic “Change of Guard & Oath-taking ceremony” of PRESIDENT MANISHA PRAMOD CHORDIA, along with Board of Directors. This was done using aesthetic sand art in a heartwarming, powerful, and moving narrative, by the renowned sand artist of our country Mr. Prashant and Mr. Keshav.
Along with the President: Manisha Pramod Chordia, Vice President: Sheetal Chandan, Secretary: Nisha Bisani, Joint Secretary: Chetna Modi, Treasurer: Simmy Solanki, Project Director: Sangeetha Marlecha, Cultural Director: Kirti Fomra, Entertainment Director: Komal Goel, HRD Director: Anamika Agarwal, Intra-Sports Director: Shilpa Surana, Inter-Sports Director: Rekha Tated, Kids Wing Director: Pragna Choudhary, Editorial Director: Shweta Mohta, Long Tour Director: Chandrika Jain, Greeter Director: Kusum Mehta, Fund Raising Chairman: Rekha Kankaria and Men’s Wing Director: Pramod Chordia were installed in this innovative and unique way by the RCC Coordinator Shri Padam Ji Tatia.
The theme of the year was also unveiled as “RENASCI – ONE LEVEL UP”. And as a team they are determined to take their esteemed institution to a different league, with a purposeful intent and aim of rekindling the joy in culture, learning, fun and bonding. The flame for social causes will also remain lit-up strongly and rise again to a glowing fire. And like a Phoenix they shall rise to illuminate, dazzle and sizzle with joy, fun and bonding.
Recently on International Women’s Day with the aim to provide wigs to cancer patients, the Project “Hair to Hope” was launched by the Honourable Governor of Tamilnadu Shri. Banwarilal Ji Purohit at the Raj Bhavan. This was the first time that a club’s social project under Project Coordinator Smt.NIDHI PAREKH was launched from the corridors of the Raj Bhavan with collaboration of THE CHERIAN FOUNDATION
On the day of the installation, Project Director- Sangeetha Marlecha organised donation of masks and dry food to needy people in Madhavaram and Tambaram.
