The 80th birthday celebrations of Sri Ganapathi Sachchidananda Swamiji were organized by Sri Ganapathi Sachchidananda and held in Chennai Naradagana Sabha. The spiritual program was presided over by Justice V. Ramasubamaniam, Retd judge of the Supreme court.
Ganapathi Sachchidananda Swamiji released a CD of “Bhajana Chandrika” – a collection of 80 bhajans composed by Sri Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji and rendered by the Chennai Bhajan Mandali was released at the venue.
Justice V. Ramasubamaniam, Retd judge of the Supreme court received the first copy of the CD and delivered the presidential address.
Sri Karaikudi Mani, Smt Sudha Ragunathan, Smt. Padma Subrahmanyam and Sri. Nalli Kuppusami Chetti Felicitated the Swamiji.
The felicitation function was followed by Nathabhishegam, the rendition of a song in ‘DATTAPRIYA’ a very Special Raga composed in honor of HH Pujya Sri Swamiji by 80 eminent Carnatic Musicians.

In his blessings speech, Sri Ganapathi Sachchidananda Swamiji, ‘People must have knowledge about nada. The music has healing power. It will reduce your pain, and make you sleep.”
If a three months child hears melodious music, in 20 years he will a good human being with a positive thoughts.
Music regulates the rhythm of a person and tunes it to the harmony of the music that is being performed.
Nada vibrations work through the chord of sympathy existing between man and his surroundings to reveal past, present, and future conditions. The human body has 72,000 astral nerves, which incessantly vibrate in a specific rhythmic pattern. Disturbance in their rhythmic vibration is the root cause of diseases and the musical notes restore their normal rhythm, thereby bringing about good health. There is no complication about it, once you are in tune with the modus operandi, says Sri Swamiji.

Swamiji urged the young people to read Bhagwat Gita regularly. He said ” I use devotional music as a means of spiritual energy transmission. Playing on a synthesizer to simulate the sounds of 1008 different instruments, accompanied by a troupe of classical Indian musicians. Sri Swamiji utilizes different ragas for different health conditions.”
Carnatic singer Sudha Raghunathan said Ganapathi Sachchidananda Swamiji is a unique Avathara Purusha on the earth to guide humans spiritually thus, enabling them to lead a life with Peace, Humility, and harmony.
Bharatanatyam exponent Padma Subramaniam said, The theme “Music for Healing” is being propagated through His Music Meditation Concerts all over the world. It is to be noted that 300 plus such concerts have been conducted by Sri Sri Sri Swamiji along with his divine music troupe around the globe, which have been of great help to many beneficiaries.
Nalli Kuppuswami said, A great Saint, Tatva Gnani, Master of Datta Kriya Yoga and a great Teacher, Sri Swamiji has many other facets that we can keep adding. We experience divinity in Sri Swamiji just by the glance of His graceful eyes radiating Sachchidanandam upon us.”
Justice V.Ramasubramanian said, “Almighty blesses us with Sadguru in a physical form to establish unity and brotherhood amongst all communities, to propagate spirituality, to help the people suffering due to karmas and to strengthen the Sanatana Dharma.”
