The November Sunday Kutcheri will have a Carnatic Flute performance by Sukrithi Vijay at Nageswara Rao Park on November 5, 2023 from 7 am to 8 am
11 year-old Sukrithi Vijay is an aspiring Carnatic flautist based in Bangalore. Sukrithi embarked on her musical journey at the age of 6 and has been learning Carnatic flute since last 5 years. She learnt basics from Sri. Venkatanarayana Jois and also briefly trained with Sri R.Athul Kumar. She is currently under the tutelage of Vid. Vani Manjunath. Sukrithi was the winner of The Hindu Margazhi 2021 contest for child talent and also featured in Times Of India SaPa school contest in 2023 in the meritorious entries.
She will be accompanied by Chaithra J on the violin and by Ravi Kiran Bharighat on the Mirudangam and the performance will be in natural surroundings without any mikes.
She will perform the following songs on Sunday morning.
