City Union Bank commemorated 115th years of service and celebrated its 116th foundation on 23rd November, 2019 at Chennai with Honourable Union Finance Minister and Corporate Affairs, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman gracing the occasion as Chief Guest. Hailing CUB for functioning steadily for the last 115 years, she said the bank’s chatbot facility that would help customers. She said if a financial institution in the present situation has a name ending with ‘Bank’ doubts are raised on its functioning. Even a small error caused by an employee will raise questions on the functioning of a bank.
The welcome address was given by Dr. N. Kamakodai, Managing Director & CEO, City Union Bank. The event witnessed the launch of “CUB All in One” Mobile App.
