After the fantastic response to the Global Yaadhum Oorae launch in 2019. The Southern India Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI) in association with Guidance is organising India’s first-ever “Global Yaadhum Oorae Conclave” in Chennai (India) on the 29th, 30th & 31st of October 2020 (Thursday to Saturday). The three-day conclave (virtual) will be attended by more than 10,000 members from over 38 countries including USA, UK, SA, Singapore, UAE, Australia, Malaysia, Mauritius and Germany. The three-day conclave will be inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Th. Edappadi K Palaniswami. It will also be attended by the Hon’ble Minister for Industries, Government of Tamil Nadu, Th. M.C. Sampath, the Chief Secretary, Government of Tamil Nadu Th. K. Shanmugham and the Principal Secretary, Industries Th. N. Muruganandam.
It aims to create a unique experience for all global Tamil fraternity to come on one platform to have online interactive sessions on a regular basis to discuss the challenges and opportunities in Tamil Nadu.
The main events of the three-day conclave comprise of panel discussions, interactive sessions aimed furthering and developing new ties and alliances, Writer’s Launchpad, 3D Expo, conferences, cultural events to promote Tamil culture and traditions, Hackathon, Startup awards, business, technology and other avenues.
